Plantin-Moretus museum

The original house and workshop of the publishing dynasty Plantin-Moretus opens its doors to you for an exceptional experience.

The Plantin-Moretus Museum is the first museum on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

It is the original residence and printing house of the Plantin-Moretus publishing family in the heart of Antwerp.

The museum tells the story of three hundred years of family history and entrepreneurship: with the oldest printing presses in the world, family portraits painted by the house painter Peter Paul Rubens and the original letter from Garamond on everyone’s computer.
